A Norwegian family converted to Islam on the first day of Ramadan

The story starts when the family visited Marmaris region in Turkey for a vacation. They consists of the parents Nyman (the mother, 34) , her husband Frode (31) and three children. During their tour at central mosque, they were surprised and astounded by the recitation of the Holy Quran, which inspired every member greatly.

The family were extremely influenced and attracted, They continued listening to the recitation of the Imam for 20 minutes. The family of 5 was greatly touched by the sounds of the recitation and was eager to know more. They asked the imam to tell them more of this faith. In hearing the imam and further research of the faith they decided nothing less then choose Islam as their faith.

Linda Nyman stated; "It was so nice that we found ourselves in the mosque listening to the Quran. Tears began to flow through our eyes. I found peace inside, I felt relieved and free. I’m very happy to chose Islam"

The Mufti Assistant of the Mulga province, Hussain, stated that the family came to the office to declare their conversion to Islam, after they had been influenced by listening to Quran.

After their conversion, the family choose themselves new names. The father Frode changed his name to Ali, while his wife had Aicha as her new name. The three children choose “Ayhan” , “Asmae” and “Alif”

ALLAHU AKBAR..

May Allah guide and assist the family on becoming strong believers and gaining imaan and takwa. Aameen.

Salam sister,
nice to hear from you.
Right sis, it's very nice to hear people accept islam on their own will.
Some people used their brain, Allah Almighty guided them and opened their hearts to islam.
MAY ALLAH BLESS THEM AND MAKE THINGS EASY FOR THEM.

♦ Bismillahi Rahmaanir Raheem ♦

CATHOLIC SOLDIER AND HIS FAMILY CONVERTS TO ISLAM.

The Tarantinos say converting to Islam has given them new purpose, meaning and guidance in their lives.

The adults have given up music and alcohol.
The children have given up the tooth fairy and Santa.

In their back yard, from left are Andrew and Jayden, and their parents, Chris and Cristina.

Islam made sense to Cristina and gave her some serenity, she said. She discussed her spiritual progress with her husband in frequent phone calls between Camp Taji, Iraq, and Mannheim.

“I went to Kuwait and bought a prayer rug and started praying right there,” he said. “I saw it wasn’t the end of the world to say I was a Muslim.”

“As Muslims, we believe that if you kill one innocent person, it’s as if you’ve killed the entire world. But if you save one person, you save the entire world,” said Chris

Subhan'Allah! May Allah Azzawajal keep them and others like them steadfast on the Deen.

ALHAMDULILLAH —

Ma-sha-ALLAH

So, whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He makes his heart wide open for Islam, and whomsoever He wills to let go astray, He makes his heart strait and constricted, (and he feels embracing Islam as difficult) as if he were climbing to the sky. In this way, Allah lays abomination on those who do not believe.

Al Quran [6:125]

Journey of Irish Brother Eamon Bradley to Islam

A Norwegian family converted to islam on the first day of Ramadan Bradley

Amazing story of brother Eamon Bradley from Ireland who reverted to Islam. Indeed if Allah wills he can guide anyone the way he wants. Brother Eamon reverted to Islam on his own without meeting a single Muslim brother or sister, but from YouTube videos and reading online Qur'an. Read further how Islam helped him to mend his ways.
I'm Eamon Bradley, from Derry in Ireland. This is my story to Islam. I'm 24 now, when I was a kid I used to steal a lot. It was normal to do such things with my friends. In fact we would laugh about it then go and buy some drugs and get high. I would steal from churches, family, school and stores and places like that. I with another friend once stole fireworks from a shop and went up to the church and caused a couple thousand pounds worth of damage. We got caught for it. The priest brought us back to the chapel and into his little house beside it to question us. We did not mind so we put our feet up on his table and eat some of the sweets we also stole. I think I must have been around my 5 year in primary school then.
I used to run around with people a lot older than myself so I was into heavy drugs very early. LSD in primary school for example. As I got into secondary school things seemed to get worse, I would skip school and get high a lot. Education at the time meant very little to me. I was always very nervous and shy. The first couple days into my last year at school I got threw out with two other friends.
As school was over for me early I did not do nothing until the next year. I went to some useless course that wasted another two years. After that it was just partying every weekend. Sometimes I would go out on Thursday and come home on a Monday, coming in and out of the house for change of clothes or to get washed and stuff. But I was living a lie, I was empty inside. I used to just cry for no reason and I didn't know why. I would just wake up in the morning sometimes and just cry uncontrollably.
By this stage I think I was just drinking and smoking to die. I would try overdose on prescription drugs. It was around this time Allah Most Great showed me the way. When I was in secondary school they gave everyone a bible. I of course at that time threw it behind my back in my room in some boxes out of the way. I then found it and started to read some for a half hour everyday until I eventually started to believe in it. Alhamdulillah. I was also looking at the twin towers on YouTube quite a lot and I was convinced that it wasn't what it seemed to be. I then started to read the Quran from the internet every night and I knew it was truthful. Alhamdulillah. And just by watching videos on YouTube of good brothers and sisters I ended up saying the shahada and confirming my belief. Also if I might add when I used to like doing what was wrong I would say to my friends that there was no God.
I remember once when I was putting my clothes out on the line, it started to rain so I brought them in and then it stopped so I brought them back out again, and then it rained again and I remember shaking my fist in the sky at my Lord in rage saying some things which I would not repeat again. So maybe after all I did believe and it was just arrogance holding me back.
I'm a Muslim now for around 3 years and I think I have only spoken to one Muslim on the street. That was in a kebab shop in the town where I finally got some Halal food. AlhamduillahI thank Allah for showing me the way and I pray he saves those who believe and are true to themselves. And I pray he guides those who do not believe but have some good in them, but will not come to the light threw fear.Today's world is difficult for every individual in different ways. But if we keep hold of the rope of Allah with even one hand there is a way out.Thank you for taking time to read my story.

Canadian Native Amanda redmond Reverts to Islam

A Norwegian family converted to islam on the first day of Ramadan Amanda

Canadian Halifax native, Amanda Redmond, who found her faith after reading the Qur’an three years ago, wears the hijab and has a shop that offers fashions for other women in Islam

A life-altering decision about faith has propelled Amanda Redmond into the Muslim fashion business.
The Halifax native, 23, was stuck overnight in a New York airport nearly three years ago when the soft light of the airport mosque called her in.
It was 3 a.m. and sleep was unlikely, so she picked up the Qur’an and began to read. She was taken aback when the words of the ancient text resonated and she found herself nodding in agreement.
“The values it teaches and what’s written in the Qur’an all make sense to me,” Redmond said in a recent interview.
“I’ve always had a fleeting interest, and I wasn’t any religion to start with, so the more I learned about Islam, the more it made sense to me.”
With a new outlook on what it means to have faith and her interest in Islam growing, she continued to absorb what she could from the culture that was undeniably foreign from her upbringing in suburban Halifax.
In time, it became clear to Redmond she needed to officially convert to Islam and become a Canadian revert Muslimah. She was ready to tuck her hair under a hijab, cover up her arms and live a modest life based on her new-found faith.
“When you feel something is right and you’re not doing it, you think about it all of the time.
I knew I wanted to do it and it was nagging and nagging, and I didn’t know why I wasn’t wearing the hijab and fully converting to Islam. After I made the change, that was the kind of freedom I got.”
Broadly, in Islam, hijab is the principle of modesty, which itself is open to personal interpretation. A Muslim woman may choose to only expose their eyes, others cover their entire body except their face and hands and others don’t observe any special dress rules.
Not every woman who converts to Islam immediately wears the hijab, but within a few months, Redmond was wearing her hijab to school — she is a Mount Saint Vincent University business student — to work, and out with her friends.
“I dabbled for a couple of months, and then one day it was just me. It felt right. But then I found it really difficult to find the appropriate clothing I felt comfortable with, on a modest guideline.”
Redmond’s definition of modesty means her hair and arms are covered, but her hands and face are bare, and bright colours and jeans are OK as long as they are paired with a long, loose-fitting top. With a new personal dress code to live up to, it soon became clear to the young business student that there was a gaping hole in the retail landscape.
There are more than 4,000 Muslims living in Nova Scotia, and she found that the female population is reliant on online shopping and parcels from friends. But it didn’t add up; the cost of shipping would more than double the price of many garments, and items would often arrive looking little like they did online.
The aspiring entrepreneur knew she could offer a more affordable solution.
After a little research, she began making bulk orders from the Middle East and Asia. She settled on a business name — Al-Qamar or The Moon, named after the 54th sura of the Qur’an — set up a Facebook profile and began networking.
“It really baffled me that there was nowhere else in all of Atlantic Canada to buy this stuff.
“I wanted these things, all of my friends bought these things and there are other women here who are asking for these things, so why aren’t they here? I guess I’ll do it.”
Al-Qamar officially launched its online store in September and has now garnered more than 1,200 Facebook fans and a growing reputation as a go-to shop for Muslim women.
The shop offers an assortment of contemporary clothing and accessories, from brightly coloured, ruffled and bejewelled hijabs, sparkling hijab pins to abaya (sleeved dresses), cotton undercaps, lace underscarves and arm sleeves.
Operating in a tight niche market, Redmond said it is important that her products stay affordable and that she doesn’t saturate the market with duplicates.
“I’m focused on bringing in 10 or so of each item. There’s a small pool of women here, and if everyone has the same thing, it’s pretty obvious. I want to stay focused on contemporary, modest clothing for Muslim women.”
To date, business continues to gather speed and Al-Qamar has shipped to buyers across Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and even Sri Lanka.
And although she continues to juggle school, work and the demands of her fledgling online business, Redmond is focused on her next goals — growing the network of Muslim women in the region and opening up a brick-and-mortar retail shop.
“It will take time, but I’m patient. People who know me know I don’t just jump into something without doing my homework.”

Surely Allah guides whom He wills..

Arnoud Van Doorn in Hajj. His description of this blessed journey was that his tear flow could hardly stop, and that he wanted to live in Madinah for the rest of his life and produce an award-winning documentary about Islam... Subhan'Allah this was coming from the same figure who produced the famous anti-Islam documentary in 2008, and was the vice-leader of the extremist Anti-Islamic party in the Netherlands up to last year!

Indeed, Allah guides whom He wants, so brothers and sisters don't stop giving Dawah to anyone and inviting others to our beautiful faith, not even the harshest haters of Islam. Allahu Akbar!...
