Abu Dawood saying that Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) used to eat watermelons
with ripe dates commenting that the heat of one (dates) is overcome by
the coolness of the other (watermelon).

smelling fruits; they wash out the bladder, clean the bowel, increase
the water of the back, act as aphrodisiacs, cleanse the complexion and
prevent colds.

The presence of vitamin A
makes the fruit helpful in improving vision, especially night sight. In
addition, vitamin A plays an importnt role in the maintenance of
healthy epithelial tissue, the tissue that covers both the internal and
external body surfaces including the skin, eye lining, intestines,
lungs, and bladder..
