Jesus PBUH) the son of Mary (Son of Man) said:
Ein talmeeth n’leh al rabbo; shekken kal adam she’MUSHLAM yihyeh k’rabbo.
No student can be above his rabbi, but everyone that is a MUSLIM, can be as his rabbi. (Luke 6:40)
Most English Bibles translate MUSHLAM as “completed” or “perfected” or “fully instructed”. But the closest translation of MUSHLAM is the Arabic word MUSLIM; which means “complete and perfect peaceful submitter” (i.e. to the Will of Allah).
Jesus told His “students” that whoever of them who shall be like their rabbi (Jesus AS their teacher) shall be a Muslim! Jesus was a complete and perfect submitter to the Will of God, and He wanted His “talmeeth” (students) to be as HE WAS. Jesus was a MUSLIM, and His religion was ISLÁM (Complete and Perfect Peaceful Submission to the Will of Allah).
“Jesus said to them, ‘My food is to do the will of Him Who sent me, and to accomplish His work.’” [John 4]
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him Who sent me.” [John 6]
“…saying, ‘Father (Creator), if it is Your will, take this cup away from me; nevertheless not my will, but Yours, be done.’” [Luke 22]
