As-Salaam alaikum,
As you are aware, in ayat/verse 55 of Surat Ta-Ha of the Holy Qur'an (20:55), Allah Ta'ala says:--
"WE HAVE CREATED YOU FROM THE EARTH (dust), AND WE WILL RETURN
YOU TOWARDS IT ONCE AGAIN."
It is on this that we should recall the report of one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, that is Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, who narrated that ' an Angel is appointed to the womb.' He takes the nutfa from the womb, keeps it on his hand and says, 'Ya Rabb! Will he be allowed to be born (created) or not?'
If Allah Ta'ala says that he will be born, then he (the angel) asks, 'What is his sustenance, what is his athar, and when is the time of his death?' Allah says, 'Observe it in Lauh-e-Mahfuz'. Then, the angel looks into Lauh-e-Mahfuz and he finds everything recorded therein. He then takes the sand from the place where he will be buried and he mixes his nutfa ( a drop of liquid) with this sand. This is what the ayat quoted above (20:55) refers to in short.
Best Wishes to you all.
